An amazing feature “Restore Point” was initially introduced in Windows ME. It is an awesome feature that helps in restoring the important system files faster even without any delay and without making amendments in the data.

On your system, every week a restore point is created by default. Now in Windows 8.1, the feature Refresh PC has been taken place from the Restore Point, but it is still easier for you to use a Restore Point feature instead of using Refresh PC. Because it is a faster way. Sometimes you need to install a third-party software to your system or you need to make amendments in your system files. It is suggested to you to create a restore point before going ahead. The users who are not well aware how to create it manually in Windows 8.1 should do by after the below steps.

Step 1: You need to right-click the “Start” button where you will find “Run” option. Select the option of opening it.

In this way you have easily and successfully created the desired restore point and it did not waste a lot of your time. You just need to spend a couple of minutes on the process. Although you can get help from a third-party software for creating a restore point, but it is recommended that you should not make changes in the system files by using third-party software. Instead, you should create it manually.
