Although Windows 8.1 brought a wide range of astonishing features for the users, but it was launched with some missing features that were quite important. One of these missing features is the Flip 3D in windows and the users were expecting to still get it in Windows 8.1 as it was existing in Windows 7 and Vista, but was not present in the latest version from Microsoft.

The users were able to view all of the currently active apps in 3D form and they could switch from one application to the other application quite easily even without closing the currently used app. The users were able to perform this task by using the “ALT + Tab” or “Windows Logo + Tab” keys simultaneously.

Some people are in the habit of using the Flip 3D and luckily, they can use it in Windows 8.1 too. However, they need to use a freeware that is known as “Switcher” for this purpose. This is a third-party app that has been specifically designed to enable the users to use the Flip 3D function in Windows 8.1.

Below tutorial explains how you can use this feature in Windows 8.1.

Step 1: Click here to download “Switcher” application for Windows 8.1.

Step 2: Once you have finished downloading, you need to double click the “.exe” file that has been downloaded to start its installation. After installation go to drive C > Program Files > Switcher.

For example, if you want to use “Alt+Tab” combination, you need to keep pressing the “ALT” key and then press “Tab” key to add this combination in the given box. Then click the option “Ok” to activate it.
